{ hazy summer days }

A different kind of evening walk. After visiting my dad (who happens to live too far in the country for our likes, but has the benefit of passing through beautiful spots to play and take photos), we saw some gorgeous sun light washing over these fields filled with wildflowers and I knew we had to stop for some photos. I rarely go anywhere without my camera bag, always have the tripod in the car and just happened to be wearing decent clothes (who cares that I hadn’t even brushed my hair that morning, and had been wearing those clothes for two days in a row??). I absolutely adore all the shots I have of me nursing my girl. I even have a little photo album I created of me and Addie, called We Love to Nurse … nursing everywhere from airplanes to sitting inside a wagon on the sidewalk (because we couldn’t even get to the park two blocks away most days without needing to have a little mommy snuggles and nursies time). <3 And, yes, Scott was there too but didn't get in many of the photos for once ... some shots of me and the girls were taken with the tripod and remote, some were my "voice command walking tripod." I get all the settings right, point the camera in exactly the right spot for the composition I want and then yell, "Do NOT move and do NOT touch any of my settings ..." Then get into place and yell, "Okay, now!" LOL!

Annie… These are amazing!!! I loved them all but the first one is my favorite…. since I miss nursing my little ones so much
my kids both nursed for 3 years each and we also stopped for snuggles and nursies EVERYwhere!!! Lol. Enjoy dear and keep posting these beautiful images so we can all drool over them!!!
You are such a great advertisement for nursing! I nursed all three of mine everywhere too, even when they were at the gymnastic stages. I wish I had photos like these to record the time. These are so gorgeous!
These pictures are fantastic! Your children are beautiful!!!
I love that you took pictures of yourself nursing. So beautiful and you will treasure them forever. It doesn’t hurt that you look amazing
These are so so beautiful! I love nursing photos and wish I had more! I’ll have to get some of my little man, he’s coming up to his second birthday and isn’t nursing as much anymore so I better get some before he decides he’s too big for ‘boobies’ hehe
Loving all of your photos! You have inspired me to get some newer pictures(not so point and shoot)of me nursing my 1 year old! You have such talent! Thank you for sharing!
Annie, I love to look at your pictures – they look so peaceful!!! I love nursing Miss Amelia on our front porch and looking out at the lake. It’s awesome to rock her and snuggle her in my arms. Wish we could just push the “pause” button for a while.
Stumbled upon your blog for your photo blog. I call my son a “milky, milk baby” because he loves snuggly nursie time. Wish I had more photos of it. Best wishes
How sweet father and child! Lovely pictures and nice shots..
This further affirms that I want pictures of me breastfeeding my 11-month-old before my breastfeeding days are completely over.
