Like you, I wouldn't trade it for the best night sleep in the world. Love the "dirty" pictures. Dirt is a fixture in our house - nice to know that it's not just because I have boys. lol. My husband calls me black foot because my feet are always dirty from walking around outside with no shoes. A habit I picked up from my hippy gardener mom. My 16 month old is constantly "building her immune system". She still puts everything in her mouth. I love the dirty little hand print on Eliza's thigh- too stinking cute. Love the chubby legs. Your nursing stories reminded me of a couple of summers ago. It was two years after my youngest son had weaned, and I was tucking him into bed after working outside digging a foundation --all day on the hottest day of the year, no shower. He sniffed deeply and said, "what do you smell like?" I told him "stink." He sniffed deeply again and said, "No. It smells like milk." I was so happy he remembered that after two years, but I was also worried that he spent all his nursing years smelling stink! I hope comfort smells better than that! Enjoy your little girls.
