Ohhh Annie! This made me so sad!! Like you I struggle, but my struggles are different. We moved to AZ from KS four years ago and I hate it here. While we have made great friends, they can’t replace our family and the life-long friends we have back home. I dream daily of the moment when my husband tells me that we can pack our bags and return to the place we know and love. I have had some really, really low points. Living so far from everything I consider “home” has been a challenge – but has also taught me so much about myself.

Right now I am at such a great place with that aspect of my life. Yes, I would move home in a heartbeat if I could, but I am trying not to dwell on that. I was SUPER homesick right after having the baby (this summer) and cried my little eyes out, but I am hanging in there.

My biggest “low” right now is in my photography. You might have gathered that from FB, not sure. But I am really struggling with it. I get mad. I cry. I quit. But then I get right back in there and try again!! So I am saying to you, hang in there!! You are absolutely the best mom to your girls and that is all that matters. The rest WILL work itself out in some way, shape or form. Promise. (And I guess I should take my own advice as well!!)

I admire your honesty. You are talented beyond belief!

Hi Annie! It’s been a while… I love reading your blog and reading about your funny adventures with your kidlets and the joys of being a mommy . My little Noah has quite the imagination too and I just love seeing what he is going to come up with next! He always surprises me . Your girls are darling and you have a beautiful family. And I feel you with the challenges that life brings our way…hang in there…this too shall pass. **HUGS**

Your Addy is hilarious! I hope that you will print out this little story and tuck it away for later. Wouldn’t it be amazing if she did turn out to be passionate about writing? I have three little sweeties, and have experienced three ppd phases. Hang in there, you are not alone. I agree with the earlier comment, accept help whenever and wherever it comes your way. So sorry to hear that you’ve not been feeling well or sleeping enough. As much as I love your work and the generosity that motivates you to share your talents, I’d much rather you blogged & posted less so that you can do the important things without feeling pressure about the blog/web world. From all that you’ve written I gather that your family is your first priority – as it should be – but we can live without you posting everyday, especially if it means you’ll be able to post for a longer time (I’m thinking years here). And no matter what my daughter says, sleep is NOT over-rated. POTS is exhausting you enough, don’t let us add tothe burden. Take care of you and yours, we’ll wait. There, I’m now stepping down from my soapbox…

First of all, so impressed with Addy but not the least bit surprised! She is such a gem!
Second, I am so sorry to hear of your recent woes. I picked up on the “close family members” mention in addition to the term “troubles with homeschooling”. I have used those same terms in the same sentence many times and would be happy to be a listening ear about that. I can totally relate!

i second your sentiment about NO sleep…its getting ridiculous around here. i was a tad embarassed the last time I purchased actions from you, because it was 3 am EST and I, for one brief second, considered not doing it because I didnt want you to see what time the order was placed!!
